Permanent Citations Arrive: SPJ Articles Now Indexed with DOIs

We're excited to announce that the Science Perl Journal has officially completed DOI registration through Crossref with our dedicated prefix: 10.63971! All articles in our inaugural issue have been assigned permanent, citable DOIs, making them easily discoverable and verifiable across scholarly platforms. This is a major step forward in elevating the visibility and credibility of Perl-related research. We're now in the final stages of obtaining our official ISSNs, which will enable full journal-level registration and long-term metadata compliance. While we’re not yet able to issue DOIs for future articles until the ISSNs are active, that functionality is on the way—stay tuned for more updates as we continue building momentum!
